Just wanted to let everyone know the scholarship applications are now available online. Only junior and senior dance majors may apply for the scholarship. The information was given to the dance department, but if you know an SOA dancer who may qualify, please send them to LittleSwanScholarship.com.

Hello everyone! Just wanted to give a small update! The Little Swan Scholarship website and application will launch on Christine's birthday (December 5th). The winner of the scholarship will be chosen and awarded in the spring. I will share the link here as soon as it's ready.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! We've already reached our goal of $500! Donations are still being accepted in hopes to create multiple scholarships and build a website for the application process. Thank you so much again, and for sharing your love for Christine with us!

Thank you everyone for your donations! In less than a week, we've almost reached our goal because of your love for Christine! We also want to thank Mrs. Piontek for sharing Christine's dance pictures with us. They definitely brought a smile to our faces!

In lieu of giving a gift to the school, the Charleston School of the Arts Class of 2006 will create a scholarship in Christine Piontek's honor.

In lieu of giving a gift to the school, the Charleston School of the Arts Class of 2006 will create a scholarship in Christine Piontek's honor.

The scholarship will be rewarded to a high school student with a passion for dance. The selected recipient may use the award to pursue dance in college or for a summer dance intensive.

Once the $500 is reached, we will continue to accept donations to create multiple scholarships and/or for next year's scholarship.
